Spey casting courses

You just got this brand new and shiny two hands rod and don’t want to waste your time or you play with your rod for a few seasons without achieving your goal, come and enjoy spey casting courses.

If you are not ready to spey cast but are feel you could do a lot better with your one hand rod, I’ll help you to understand and solve your weaknesses.

Intro

The intro courses will gives you a good understanding of the basis of spey casting, be at ease with C-Cast and cast fair Single spey. At the end of the course, I’ll show you the other casts and you could try them, This session is ideal for casters who like to learn by themselves but don’t want to waste to much time. Then with the videos, you could progress at your own pace. You’ll need a few training sessions of your own before thinking to go fishing.

 Complete course

The complete course is intended to give you the best training in the least time. The first session will focus on the basis and most useful casts while the second will return to the same subjects and then go to the advanced casts. The delay in between will help to reinforce the muscle memory at long term. At the end of the second session, you won’t be able to cast a 120′ single but you could cast to fish with good accuracy and stealthiness.

By experience, I know that a beginner can’t cast more than 3 hours in a row. It’s why I offer a three hours for the first session but in the case of a two persons session, one can take a rest while the other cast and both get the best of it.

Rod and lines

I have many rods from different makers in different size and weight and even switch rods, you can try any of them. I have many lines for all the standard technics from long traditional casts to skagit and multi tips lines.

Best bring your own rod and I’ll show you how get the best of it.

You must bring your waders as you absolutely need to enter the water to be able to learn spey casting. If you don’t have any, let me know and I’ll find a solution.
